Favourite international destination: Key West, Florida Keys
”I love the laid-back atmosphere, warm crystal blue water, boating, deep sea fishing and the most amazing sunsets.”
Favourite local destination: Western Cape
”I love the natural beauty of the sea and mountains. There are so many small towns to explore along the coastline, and inland for the wine farms.
This photo is Cape Agulhas where the two oceans meet at the southern tip of Africa:”
Sandra Geiger
TankSafe® Germany
Favourite international destination: Bella Italia
”My favourite holiday destination is Bella Italia, especially the Amalfi Coast. Sunny weather, pure Italian flair, steep coastlines, charming little towns, beaches and the sea.
Sensational Italian food, Italian light-heartedness.”
Favourite local destination: Hamburg

”South Africa is where the heart will always be. The picture on the right is Hout Bay on the Peninsula Drive with my brother and sister - a much needed break!”

”There's tonnes of beautiful national parks and stunning scenery.”
Favourite local destination: Scotland

Richard Forster

Favourite international destination: Slovenia
”High in the mountains bordering Croatia and Austria, I think it is over 90% forest cover. Food is fabulous and stopping in a vineyard for a few days had its perks 🥳!”
Julie Holmes

Favourite international destination: Norfolk Broads, UK.
”The best holiday we had was in the Norfolk Broads. Lovely, serene countryside for a quiet time away from the rat race. We hired a boat and spent a week sailing the waters.”
Matthew Rose

Favourite international destination: Australia.
”Fantastic country which is so diverse: wonderful cities contrasting with amazing rural areas and coastlines. And of course an incredible love of cricket! I enjoyed it so much when I went for the Ashes 8 years ago that I’m back there again this winter!”
Favourite local destination: Southwold, Suffolk.
”A wonderful, small coastal town in Suffolk. Like a lot of rural Suffolk it has retained its original character and charm.
The fact that there’s no good public transport links makes you feel like you’re in your own enclave and it remains completely untouched by modern seaside amenities such as arcades, amusement parks and screaming kids 😊!
Walk along the Victorian pier, head down the traditional independent high street, travel 20 minutes down the road to Aldeburgh for the best fish and chips in the country.
And definitely do the Adnams (finest real ale purveyors in the UK) brewery tour before having a couple of pints of Ghost Ship in the Lord Nelson or Red Lion. Bliss!”

Favourite international destination: Thailand.
”The people are amazing and the beaches are beautiful.”
Favourite local destination: Kruger National Park, South Africa
”I have always had a passion for nature and being in the Bushveld is an amazing experience, the raw sound and beauty of the African bush is just unmatched.”
Andrew Green

Favourite international destination: Italy: Rome; Vatican City
”For its history, religious significance, and barettos.”
Favourite local destination: Grasmere, The Lake District
”Grasmere is a cosy, small village in the Lake District. William Wordsworth lived here, and is buried with his family in the village church grounds.
If you like gingerbread, there’s a famous little shop here that’s been making the same recipe for over 170 years.”
