Peace of Mind for International Freight Forwarder
Enhancing Fleet Security: Böhm & Besold GmbH Adopts TankSafe® Optimum
International freight forwarder Böhm & Besold GmbH has taken a major step toward protecting its vehicle fleet from diesel theft by integrating 90 state-of-the-art TankSafe® Optimum tank safety devices.
This investment ensures maximum security, aligning with the company's commitment to safety and operational efficiency.
Headquartered in Neu-Ulm, Böhm & Besold GmbH manages a fleet of 67 vehicles, including top brands such as MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, and Ford.
The decision to implement TankSafe® solutions stemmed from repeated instances of diesel theft, causing significant financial and operational disruptions.
"On one weekend alone, our tanks were broken into seven times, resulting in enormous costs,” explained Joachim Möller, Fleet Manager at Böhm & Besold GmbH.
“Our trucks are often parked in unmonitored areas during weekends and holidays, leaving them vulnerable to theft. Unfortunately, law enforcement has limited options in such cases."
Armin Beer, Managing Partner, and Joachim Möller discovered TankSafe while searching online for effective anti-theft solutions.
Their search culminated in the deployment of the TankSafe® Optimum, known for its robust design and ease of installation, which meets the stringent demands of European road traffic.
TankSafe® Germany's Managing Director, Fred van Putten, personally delivered the devices.
"Building and maintaining direct relationships with our customers is crucial. It allows us to understand their specific challenges and provide targeted support," said Van Putten.
